Charter for the protection of personal data

Pursuant to European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016
(known as the "General Data Protection Regulation" or GDPR)

This charter (hereinafter referred to as the "Charter") sets out the way in which PMA28 SAS (Address : 1 place de l’Eglise, 28140 Varize, FRANCE) processes your personal data through (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), published by PMA28 (hereinafter referred to as the "Publisher") acting as data controller. This processing is carried out with due respect to the private life and the protection of its users’ personal data.

This Charter provides information as to how the Publisher obtains your personal data, (hereinafter referred to as the "Data"), uses it and keeps it secure. The Data that we can collect, process and/or disclose when you access and/or use the Website are described herein.

This Charter may be updated in accordance with changes in legislation and in the processed data. If any clause of this Charter is declared void or contrary to regulations, it will be deemed not to have been written but it will not result in the other clauses of this Charter being invalid.

In relation to the collected Data, the Charter applies :

  • By virtue of your browsing the Website
  • When you submit a contact request on the Website

The Charter shall not apply to data collected by third parties (website, applications, advertisements, and so on) directing the user to the Website. By browsing our website, you accept unreservedly the application of this Charter. You are remain responsible for the accuracy of the data that you provide via the Website. You may amend or modify this Data by written request/email.


What data is collected ?

Depending on how you use the Website, the Publisher may collect the following Data :

  • Your email address for all electronic communications with the Publisher ;
  • Your identity in order that we may contact you back : you may be asked for your first name, surname, email address and telephone number ;

Purposes for which the data is collected

As a Website user, your Data is collected (depending on your consent) :

  • To enable you to contact us using our contact forms ;
  • To enable us to contact you back.

Who processes your data ?

How long will your data be kept for ?

The Publisher will keep your Data for as long as is necessary to meet the aims described above. The retention period depends on the nature of the Data. Such retention period may vary according to the aim. Some legal obligations prescribe a specific retention period. Subscribing to our Newsletter (if applicable) involves keeping your email address until you unsubscribe.

Data may be kept for up to one year from contact being made using our dedicated forms.

All other Data will be kept for up to one year.
Data collected from cookies or trackers will be kept for up to 13 months.

After the above retention periods, your Data will be deleted or rendered anonymous and kept for purely statistical purposes.


Protecting you data

The Data which you provide will be kept on a secure server and protected by a firewall and antivirus software. All technical and organisational measures have been taken in order to ensure the security and confidentiality of your Data against any accidental loss and any unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure.

However, it is not possible to guarantee the optimal security of the exchanges of information on an internet network. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of the information transmitted to the Website. You transmit your Data at your own risk and we cannot be held liable in the event that the confidentiality parameters or security measures placed on the Website are not complied with. You acknowledge that the security of your data is your responsibility, by keeping your password secure and confidential.

The Publisher will never ask you for your password.


Your rights

You may state your consent or refusal to consent to the Data which you disclose to us being collected or used :

  • The Website can be used without cookies or trackers. In this case, some parts of the Website may not function properly or may be partially unavailable.
  • You may refuse to allow your data to be collected when your details are entered. In this case, it will not be possible to contact us in this way.
  • If you have subscribed to our Newsletter, you may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing.

In accordance with the regulations on personal data protection, and in particular EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of Data (the "GDPR") and the Law of 6 January 1978 n°78-17 known as "Informatique et Libertés" (the French Data Protection Act) as amended, you will have the right to access and rectify your Data.

Furthermore, subject to the terms of such regulations relating to the exercise of these rights, you have the right :

  • To delete your Data (except for accounting details which must be kept for 10 years pursuant to French law - Article L123-22 of the Commercial Code)
  • To restrict the processing of your Data
  • To object to the processing of your Data on legitimate grounds pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR
  • To port the Data that you have provided (for automated processing based on the consent to or the performance of a contract)
  • To withdraw your consent, when your consent has been requested. When the processing of your Data is based on your consent, you may withdraw such consent at any time.

The Publisher may ask for proof of your identity before your personal data can be modified or deleted. You may exercise these rights by sending an email in French to or by post to the address of the Publisher. We have a month in which to reply to any request relating to the exercise of your rights. This time limit may be extended by two months due to the complexity or number of requests.
