Quality is a key part of our policy
From July 2005, PMA28 has cultivated, harvested, dried and processed its crops in line with the GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices).
The quality service guarantees that the company’s operations comply with regulations and that our processes are relevant. We created our Quality service in July 2005 with this in mind :
-
The plants that we produce in France are cultivated, harvested, dried, and processed according to the Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP). This guide was created by the EMEA (European Medicines Agency) in order to establish more sustainable agriculture.
-
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). From designing our premises to setting up the various processes, we have put everything in place to guarantee Good Manufacturing and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
-
Thanks to our organisation, we can even guarantee full traceability of our products from sowing or from receiving harvested raw material to dispatching the finished product, by identifying and coding each batch at each stage of its transformation.
-
Respecting the standards of the European pharmacopoeia
-
Following HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) from 2007 : made official by the European Union, the HACCP is a method that facilitates the control, prevention and reduction of biological, physical or chemical dangers bringing them to an acceptable level.

As part of our quality control procedure we perform various evaluations in order to guarantee the conformity of our plants. Approved external partners conduct these analyses of proportions, active ingredients, heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology, radioactivity, etc. A programme for monitoring pesticides and heavy metals has been in place since January 2013.
